The work of Berio Molina (born in Fonsagrada in 1979) explores the relationships between divergence, language and listening. After graduating with a degree in Fine Arts in Pontevedra, he completed a Master’s in Digital Art at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona and a Master’s in Computer Graphic Design at the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York, thanks to a scholarship from the Pedro Barrié de la Maza Foundation.

In 2019, he premiered his first feature film, *7 Limbos* (co-directed with Alexandre Cancelo), at the 10th Mostra de Cinema Periférico (S8). He has screened his films at international festivals such as the Márgenes Festival in Madrid, L’alternativa in Barcelona, the Istanbul International Experimental Film Festival, FIVA in Argentina, LEM in Barcelona, ZEMOS98 in Seville, and the Curtocircuíto Festival in Santiago de Compostela, as well as at art centres including CGAC, MARCO, La Casa Encendida, Laboral and the Artium Museoa.

Since 1999, he has been interested in collective creation, being a member of the performance group Flexo, the aural studies collective escoitar.org, the art and free action collective alg-a, and the low-fidelity duo Clo Plas.
He combines his artistic practice with teaching at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Pontevedra, where he defended his doctoral thesis on acousmatic writing and the separation of phonetics in calligraphy. As part of this research process, he published the book Setras (2017), which was the result of the Special Jury Prize at the Puchi Award, presented by La Casa Encendida.
