Tiago Almança (Madrid, 1994) is a filmmaker whose practice sits between documentary and experimentation. His films are based on encounters with people, places and traditions, and are developed through a process open to intuition, chance and observation. He films mainly on Super 8 and 16mm, interested in the expressive possibilities of the photochemical medium.

His short films have been screened at D'A Film Festival Barcelona, (S8) Mostra de Cinema Periférico in A Coruña, and the Istanbul International Experimental Film Festival, among others.
