Folklore III is a narrative about the idea of progress centered on the unlikely relationship between Galicia, Spain, and Nueva Galicia, Mexico. The former is a region in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula with a town on the coast called Finisterre [end of the earth], and the latter is a colonial territory in Mexico that was so renamed in the 16th century by decision of Queen Juana I of Castile. Esquivias presents in the 2015 version a history that has been revised and updated several times since the first one in 2009. Folklore III is not only a story, but includes the very genesis of the story, its process and even its impossibility.
