Jonander Agirre Mikelez is an architect and urban planner. He graduated from ETSAB (Escola Tècnica Superior d'Arquitectura de Barcelona) in 2013 with the project 'Pasaia Bitartean: Tools for a constant meanwhile', from which the documentary work that is part of the Hamaca catalog is born. He works under the conviction that architecture is affected by everything while, in turn, affecting everything and, therefore, being an architect implies a broad interest and comittment in the world.
Agirre is involved in projects that intervene on a local scale in his hometown, Donostia-San Sebastian, such as the redefinition of the Fine Arts Theater and the implementation of the interventions of the 'Pasaia Bitartean' project. His multidisciplinary practice encompasses furniture making, writing, urban projects, buildings, books and films. Most of his projects are developed in collaboration with different architects, artists and institutions.
