Pepo Salazar Lacruz


Since the 1990s, Pepo Salazar Lacruz (Vitoria - Gasteiz, 1972) has been producing video, performance, installation and audio works. A Basque artist based in Paris, his artistic career includes installation in the Spanish Pavilion at the 56th Venice Biennale and exhibitions at MOMENTUM 10 Biennale, Centre Georges Pompidou, MACBA Museum, Palais de Tokyo, Foundation Ricard, CA2M, La Casa Encendida and the 49th and 50th editions of the Venice Biennale International Art Exhibition. In parallel to his artistic practice, Salazar Lacruz is a lecturer at Paris College of Art and has been awarded the Gure Artea Awards, the Injuve Young Art exhibition, the MUSAC Creation grant, the Artium Museum Research and Creation Grant, and the CAM Grant for Plastic Arts.
