Hamaca is once again distributing at IFFR, as part of the DINAMO programme for independent distributors dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of experimental audiovisual works. This edition proposes bringing into dialogue audiovisual pieces from different catalogues that address, metaphorically or literally, the question of exposure, in order to compose a programme that highlights connections between productions from various countries that reflect on the act of revealing, making available to the gaze, seeing and being seen, as well as works that consider issues related to cinematic or photographic materiality. That which is visible, or becomes visible in opposition to oppression and censorship; the illumination of what has so far remained hidden, the act of putting something into focus.

Within this framework, Hamaca accompanies the international premiere of The System (2014), by Marco Godoy, a work that addresses resistance in the clandestinity of the Bolivian rainforest, where poetry and sound compose a sonic protest in which nature bears witness and language confronts power from the shadows.
