The incorporation of new artists into the catalogue is achieved through a biannual public announcement and a following selection by a jury formed by experts of video and visual arts. The members of this jury are chosen under the criteria of counting on the maximum representability of a diverse contemporary audiovisual practice. Since 2013 the expansion of the catalogue has been realized with the collaboration of the Museum Reina Sofía of Madrid. 

The incorporation in the catalogue permits the artists to be part of the distribution circuit of HAMACA and to participate in other projects of the platform, such as screenings in art centres, projects in the education field or programs realized to promote the main video creators in the Spanish context.
