In 2016, Concha Barquero and Alejandro Alvarado visited the Spanish Filmoteca in search of information for research about the documentary film Rocío, by Fernando Ruíz Vergara, which had been censored in the early 1980s. 260 rolls of 16 mm film negatives were found among the materials stored in their archives. These were the outtakes from the editing process, the footage left out from the final version. After 40 years, the forgotten images of a banned film come to life on the screen.
