Desideria follows a trip to a countryside, to a closed house of the late grandmother of the author, a trip to her roots. Many years have passed since the last time she visited this place, this time she returns with a desire to reconstruct idyllic years, to evoke the past. The little bentwood house where her grandparents lived, the old patio, the chicken coop, the small conuco, her grandfather's straw chair, her fighting cocks, her uncles and cousins, who have already forgotten her, and herself, in front of a place that was the bliss of a time already absent.
