Epiphany is a travelogue in which the train is co-protagonist with the author`s family memory. A personal narrative locating clues about past of the family, the dictatorship of Franco, and staff, a bad memory of the Civil Guard, who dares not to ask her grandmother, constantly honored in the documentary. An inner quest activated by the appearance of the the three wise man figurines placed by the elder lady for the celebration of Christmas. Views, explorations and remembrances about the Civil War, the summers of a French family of Spanish origin in the east coast during the seventies and Epiphany 2000 in Alicante. An album of reminiscences narrated on the present where everything has changed.

Two trips, the first from Paris to Savigny to collect her grandmother Paulette from the residence, and take her to the weekly family meal. While she decorates the house for Christmas, the author recalls that her grandmother left Spain twenty years ago, that she lived there during Franco`s dictatorship and have never spoken about it, nor dare to ask. All these questions are condensed in portraits of her self preparing cakes and sewing. Before Paulette placing the three wise man, a childhood trauma comes to her mind about a couple of the Civil Guard in front of a bonfire one night. In the memory is where begins the second movement, towards Alicante Christmas. Travel into the past, the present, through the train. Among the diverse moving lpresented in super 8, spun by the author's voice over family summer vacation scenes and the epiphanies of past years in Alicante, when the three Wise Man arrived on a sailboat.

Once he reaches Alicante, Jean Castejón shows determined and precise periods of his exploration of the city, through sketches in his travelogue. The author presents various evocations of both their near and past environment, portraying space with eventful narrations. Own and others longings adapting to the traditions of the place. As the Twelfth Night procession, prior to the January 6th Epiphany. Tradition which refers to introduce Jesus to the world, make him public, as happens with the author as he presents s himself as an adult in the city of the family summers. His journey to Alicante concludes on a personal epiphany where reinterprets his childhood vision and feelings that this longed city provoques. Meanwhile, the helicopter which has landed the Three Wise Man in the bullring , departures towards the the night sky of mystery.
