In this piece Perumanes indulges in an exercise of carefully weaving together points of contact between an image and a text, which at first instance, seem unrelated to each other. As in other works by the artist, no relationship is established between the image and the text. They belong to parallel realities, and are always at a certain distance from each other.
A series of landscapes follow each other on screen, open spaces - a forest, a viewpoint, etc. - in which once in a while a man appears. The manipulated image is sometimes intercut, syncopated. Over the images, a text is heard in voice over. As in the case of the images, also in the text different isolated moments, thoughts and memories are narrated, without any apparent relation between each other.
In Espacios Internos the represented exterior spaces evoke and form the background for a series of inner spaces succeeding each other within the text in an arbitrary and non narrative manner.
