Dialogue between different types of women through testimonies narrated in voiceover and first person about their satisfactions and the different roles those feelings play in their private lives. Meanwhile, the blurred image shows a housewife who moves within an ordered and clean home.
Blurred everyday images of a woman wandering around the home and carrying out household chores. Voiceover of a woman recounting several moments in her life to some female friends, each woman has a role for which she is proud. The ideas of achievements and wellbeing are not agreed upon by the female group because what one praises is rejected by another and vice versa. Most of them suffer a self- marginalization in the home, something that they promote as being ideal. Through various points of view Estíbaliz Sádaba raises a question in this video: what is the ideal of female personal fulfillment today? The five cases respond from their particular situations. The first four are apparently satisfied with being housewives; each partner's involvement varies, as well as the number of children and the degree of dedication to the home and external work. Except the last, who is completely independent, with no stable family and notable success in her professional life. She speaks down to the others. To which they respond, “Die, die, die.”
The video's extreme resolution highlights an un-dramatic irony assigned by a distance that underlines a veiled subtext, an analysis that is stealthily supported through the blurring of a particular feminine image. Thus, the author shows that the submissive attitude is not necessarily the product of a masculine action, but that it is from a personal conscience that was educated in a male patriarchy.
