The cinema is flow, and so is Profanaciones . It shows you have tapped into some deep ideas about electromagnetic waves and coming from another (uncanny) place. In alluding to the uncanny, I am, of course, evoking surrealism. One might ask about the connection between electromagnetism and surrealism. Even the soundtrack seems to be composed of signals radiating through the ether. The “caught from the ether” form of the work has allowed you to combine realist images culled from documentaries, para-realistic images culled from para-documentaries and quasi-realistic images culled from fiction films fantastic with animated images. If surrealism is an art that comes into being at the place where fantasy meets reality, this work is surrealist in allowing fantastic and realist images to meet one another as electromagnetic waves—that is, to meet on the plane of electrological reality. Most images in the film have a marvellously incendiary quality. As a musical-dynamic construct, Profanaciones is absolutely magnificent!.
