Jacobo Sucari

He works in video art, installations and creation documentaries since 1986, combining narrative and experimental forms.

He has also studied music and in his videographic work we can notice a constant curiousity for different disciplines and expressions of the contemporary field of creation.

He likes to define his sphere of work as an Audiovisual composer, so that in his most recent works, be they on tape or as performances, sound and image are weaved and constructed in parallel.

As a sax and flute player he has presented various live performances, combining music, image, installation and dance.

He has been teaching and researching since 1988 and has written for various communication media. He has also attended seminars and conferences related to the narrative audiovisual construction.

Various grants and awards have allowed him to continue producing independently and with an experimental attitude.
