Acciones en casa (Actions at home) puts together a hundred of micro-actions, chained and ordered by a low intensity narrative, fulfilled in a house placed in l’Eixample (Barcelona’s neighbourhood). All them have in common the sense of humor and the idea of precariousness evident by the shape of the actions as in the bill of the domestic video.
The actions, made by the artist with the natural manner proportioned by a private space, are numbered (not always in a correlative way)and named. In all of them a referent that vary from winks to the xx century art history – surrealism, dada, fluxus, specially Fluxfilm anthology that picked up over 37 shirtfilms also numbered, conceptual art (by naming the actions), minimal art, and artists such as Bruce Nauman, Oskar Schlemmer, Alexander Calder o Fischli & Weiss– hasta elementos del imaginario colectivo y la cultura pop.
Acciones en casa was the winner Project for the contest Concurso de Artes Visuales, Premio Miquel Casablancas 2003 y una de las tres obras ganadoras del Premio Generación 2006 de Caja Madrid.
