Movement and frame are two of the elements that define the moving image. In this piece Sally Gutierrez uses tracking shots - the necessary and defining movement of the moving image - and extreme close-up shots in order to frame elements belonging to the long shot. The main frame includes the extreme close-up shot and, as this configuration is maintained throughout the whole piece, a dialogue takes place between the different scenarios and the anonymous characters.

Images taken from an urban setting recreate scenes and passages that can be very easily identified by the spectator. These have been filmed on a train and on a bus, two modes of transport that cross and weave together contemporary cities, spaces themselves defined by movement and transit.

The sound that accompanies the images has also been put together with direct sound recordings of the spaces filmed, mixed together with electronic sounds that have been composed at a later stage.
